Everything is down across the board post strike. It's dire. Plus, I read that the actor/studio talks "have stalled." They have got to be kidding.

Yeah, a combo of DVR viewing and the writers' strike has just caused a loss of first run Nielsens across the board.

SAG calls for a strike, you might as well stick a fork in ratings and the networks. We'll be seeing reality 24/7 with insipid game shows, another regular season edition of Big Brother, more Farmer Wants a Wife and other gunk we can't possibly imagine.

CBS enjoyed a wonderful night with 3 winners and no changes are needed for next season. However there is concern for ABC with Ugly Betty failing fast and they can't pin this one on the strike, the show has no legs in terms of story and even at the end of season 1 was showing signs of losing steam. Ugly Betty has been given a 3rd season and we may see a small improvement next year but the show will struggle to get a 4th season and for me will end sooner rather later.
LOST has a wonderful demo but the 10pm slot is now ruining the total viewers which might of hit a series low but am not sure of that. I can't understand why ABC won't put it on a 8pm especially with how poorly Ugly Betty is doing because IMO at 8pm the show would bring back much more of the DVR fanbase and hit close to 15 million an episode.
FOX had a decent night but both of its reality shows are now showing signs of tiredness and could struggle next year. NBC had a terrible night but thats down to the shifting of 30 Rock and Scrubs because, the medical comedy is the only show capable of taking advantage of The Office's audience.
Supernatural has lost all steam now and its lucky that it has already been given a 4th season but will need to regain it 3 million+ audience to stay alive longer because if am right the show doesn't do as well in the CW wanted demogrpahics but they keep it around due to it normally breaking 3 million+ an episode until recently.

Supernatural had a good (for CW) February sweeps, but it's flatlined since coming back from the strike. There's a lot of that going around TV these days. 
Smallville's as low as it's ever been, too. It wasn't scoring this poorly when it was up against Idol on Wednesdays. Supernatural keeps alive by thriving overseas, much more so than any other CW series. Very big in Russia, Japan, Brazil, Malaysia, and different European countries. That's beneficial for a show when the studio that produces it owns half the network--it means big time cash. With the CW flailing around like a dead fish, you better believe that Warner is going to make sure Dawn O keeps the Warner shows on CW--Supernatural, Smallville, and One Tree Hill.
You got that right. If they strike long enough to delay production (many shows start in July) it's really going to get on people's nerves with $4 a gallon gas and all the financial woes. Ratings never completely recovered from the '88 strike, and there were far less cable (and not yet existing online options) to watch. The networks lost about 9-10 percent of their overall audience permanently. Maybe that's happened again. Some people will stay devoted, some will break the habit on certain shows.

There is a rumor going around that the next season of CSI will be it's last. Yes, it's a stupid rumor, there is no need to cancel it even if EVERYONE leaves the show.
And Ugly Betty will most likely end next season unless the ratings recover a lot. It's dropping like a rock.
