Giving STO Another Try

^^^Good stuff, as I can't even remember those, plus i have at last got round to leveling up my delta rom, so remade episodes will be great to playthrough, plus i can get those last few account wide delta dil rewards, as they are the last couple of things left closed at that reclaim guy on the starbase. Ha

the Athan Prime museum from Picard Season 3 showed up in Today's patch, it's near Sol on the Galaxy map.

Seems to be the (permanent?) replacement for the Star Trek Day event ships that would activate around Sol, an DS9 in September.

They've added the Protostar and Titan-A to the ship collection, no audio for their quotes yet.

Edit:
There's also Star Trek Day NPCs scattered around DS9, they have a unique conact icon above their head, a delta with some coloured lines around it. You can get accolades for doing things for them.
Couple NPCs give accolades for performing specific emotes at them.

You're kidding! I was just about to log in for TFO's and patrols. Might as well check out Athan Prime.

I was never a big fan of the collarless/beltless Yesterday's Enterprise version - the Tapestry version was a little better, IMO, but I really think they should have kept the original turtlenecks throughout everything (like in Cause and Effect).

Very glad to see the old monster maroons are still getting some love. So many different series/era uniforms out there now. The older ones feel like they're getting buried.

Ok, I've been googling this but I'm not getting any wiser....
I want to train one of my bridge officers to be a Miracle Worker. But I can't figure out how to get the training manual for that.
What am I doing wrong?

There are some specialization qualifications (I think this is what you need) dished out via one or two missions, the exchange is also a good source.

Usually, you have to craft them yourself, but the exchange is the quickest option if you have enough energy credits.

Look under "Miracle Worker Specialization Qualification" and they should be around 500,000.

Yeap, go to the exchange and you can grab them is usually the easy way, as i think you need 10 plus points into R&D to craft them, and i am sure there is 2 missions in the game that gives you as pilot and temp training manual as a mission reward.

I have too many things to do, to many TV shows and movies to watch, and too many message boards to post to while I'm not doing the previous. Oh, and I'm trying to finish Outer Wilds.

But then I think... "You know, I've never tried STO?"

I tried looking for it but I may have missed it. I'll look again. Thanks!!

I have the temporal specialist or something and pilot. Was dumb enough to accidentally give it to one officer though. I will check the Exchange again.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Yeah, it's weird, if I type Mk XII in weapons I get a lot, including phaser arrays. If I type Mk XII phaser...nothing.

It might be worth just looking for "Miracle Worker" and finding it that way. There could be a punctuation mark in there somewhere.

FOUND IT! And applied it to a Engineering Bridge Officer at Commander level. Their are two things holding me back from buying Zen and getting a Lexington plus some other stuff. And that was not being able to utilize the Miracle Worker station. That has now been sorted. Thanks for the tips!

They would have - but the use of that uniform wax practically last minute because originally Jack Crusher was going to be in a TNG style ship's uniform until someone commented "This hohomessage is supposed to be 15 years old.."

They used what they found; and the Turtleneck shirt wasn't with that jacket.

That’s right, there was also the Crusher scene. So strange - they had tons of those things lying around for extras in the movies. I’m kind of amazed that they couldn’t find even one to put on the actor, if even just the top collar and not even a full shirt underneath. Nobody on-set ever said “that doesn’t really look quite right”?
