Punctuation.

I thought "Alien Earth" was a new thing, that maybe some tech bro aliens had anti-terraformed Earth, which is of course already a thing, "Defiance", or to a far, far, far lesser extent "After Earth".

Alien: Earth, was a travesty.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the cat, I was just thinking of the sheep. That was pretty nasty. At least it does help some when it's all CGI, and no real animals were hurt.
Luckily most of that stuff is pretty quick, so it's easy to close your eyes or skip past it.

I don't have a problem with CGI animals getting hurt as much as I do from watching old movies or shows when I know the real animals were suffering. I remember loving Flipper as a kid and being so sad when I found out the truth behind the scenes on that show.

No animals were harmed, other than Timothy Olyphant.

Yeah, that's why I have trouble watching old movies and shows like that too. And I will occasionally the No Animals Were Harmed website if I know a movies has a lot of stuff involving animals. I can understand if accidents or things happen, but anything I will definitely avoid anything where they intentionally hurt animals or where they were not concerned about their well being. I still regret that I watched Apocalypse Now, now that I know the water buffalo being killed was real. And I have mixed feeling about watching the original Battlestar Galactica. I would like to see more than the bits and pieces I've seen over the years, but the fact that they stuck a chimp in the costume for Boxey's pet really bothers me.
