TOS Airlock Status Display?

Help me out, my fellow Tech Trekkies!

I swear I recall someplace there being a display screen visible on-screen at some point during TOS showing the status of an airlock. I think it may have been the same item used along side the Depressurization Chamber in Sickbay that Khan tried to murder Kirk in in "Space Seed" but I feel like we saw it in a corridor at some point. Maybe with a guy next to it wearing the costume that later became the Tellarite outfit?

Also I have a memory of a bridge graphic that indicates a group of five airlocks, but darned if I know if it's real or if I'm hallucinating.

Any help, here?

I think the one he was talking about was in "Let that be your last battlefield"...

It looks like that was present in "Journey to Babel" and is visible in the second image of the page I linked to above.

Probably not what you're looking for, but it roughly fits the description of airlock status.

There're two lights above the doors to the hangar bay. Red=NO, YOU'LL DIE, and green=IT'S OK, YOU'RE COOL TO OPEN.

If you compare it with the similar shot on the previous page, you can see the "thermometer" bar is filling up, no hard guess to imagine indicating air pressure. (Sorry, I didn't inspect all the thumbnails.)

I seem to remember a novel where a Klingon wandered into a restricted area on the Enterprise because they were blind to the color red, so the door and sign were both black.

I'm not sure this is what I'm looking for, but I didn't think of this episode at all! So I appreciate the response!

Well drat! I guess now I have to go watch the whole series again. Woe is me!

They reused the panel for the Pressure Chamber, by adding red label tape and a black knob, under gravity control, and took off the red plate at the top in The Lights of Zetar.

It also looks like the lamp colors were modified as well. The top one is more reddish in the side shot than orangish, though perhaps that's due to the angle, while the twin lamps on the right have swapped from green to red or orange.

That's a great shot! Where else has this panel shown up? I still think I saw it next to a guy in a Tellarite uniform.

Not unless the Tellarite is wearing a red shirt. From the episode Journey to Babel.

In the above the green light is on (probably means the outer doors on the hangar deck are closed and the hangar deck is pressurizing), on the panel and the red light is on above the door.

Below the light changes to green and the doors open.

Now it's ok though.

If you look on the previous screencap page, there's an earlier view of the panel when the "thermometer" is almost all the way down, earlier in the pressurization process I'd imagine. The green light is on there too, on the panel (red light on, over the door). Is the red light on as well, on the panel? I can't really tell from the pictures. I may have to watch this scene again, to see if any of the lights are flashing. It's been years since I've seen it in motion, much less on a big screen TV.

Proposal: maybe the green light on the panel indicates what's been selected: to pressurize, to engreenify.

I edited my above post for what I think the lights mean for the hangar bay control.
