ST: Independence 10 - "Machines of War"

Who the hell, in the 23rd century, is going to rec a Lamborghini?

No one, which is why I said they should take on forms that said people would recognize. I merely mentioned the original vehicle modes of some of the characters used as a means of illustrating my point.

Bottom line-they took useful forms to get the job done-on both sides-

I didn't say they weren't useful. They were just unrecognizable within the context of Star Trek.

and didn't have trademark appearances because they weren't infiltrating a society-they were on their home world.

Which I'm pretty sure I implied was exactly the problem with the TF part of the crossover. (You know, my whole post was actually pretty insightful. Ya might want to finish reading it before commenting further).

(jumping up and down) I got it right, didn't I?

Nope, but thanks for playing! ;)

And Dnoth, the "disguise" angle may have been irrelevant to this particular story, but it's very relevant to one half of the source material you used as the basis for it, and it just seems to me like the story is lacking because you didn't include it.
