Even though it's such an obvious joke, I still had a good laugh over the alien being found in the freezer, and everyone was all "holy shit, a working ice box!"

Yeah, I haven't seen him in anything, so him popping up in this was a nice surprise.
This was a great episode.
The stuff with the Brotherhood was pretty good. The two guys in the amor were cracking me up. I haven't watched Season 1 since it first came out and I can't remember, what exactly is the relationship between the Brotherhood and Commonwealth? Is the Brotherhood just the Commonwealth's army?
It'll be interesting to see how things work out with the different Brotherhood chapters working together, because they don't exactly seem to get along.
We got some more fun stuff with Lucy and The Ghoul. The scorpions were cool, and we got some more conflict between their two attitudes. It's kind of nice that they still don't really get along, it would have been weird if they were BFFs now, which is kind of what I was expecting before the Season started. It will be fun by the end of the series, or even just season, to see which of them has a bigger effect on the other. I just hope we don't lose too much of the okie dokie, golden rule following Lucy, since her having that kind of attitude in the middle of the Wasteland is a big part of what makes her storyline so fun.

It was cool getting the Maximus flashback in the beginning.
I'm very curious what they're going to do with Norm and Bud's Buds now that they're out of the Vault.
They seem to be doing season long arcs, so I wouldn't be surprised if we get at least the current storyline with them resolved at the end of the season. And there was what appeared to be at least one scene of them face to face in the trailer, but that could have always been deceptive editing.

That's nothing new, there's been a Fallout Shelter mobile since at least 2017. The Windows store even uses that imagine on it's page for the game.

I'm late to the party, but the Dinosaur was the wrong way around in Novac. The Dino is supposed to be facing away from the main motel buildings, but in Ep.1 of Season 2 it's facing the main motel buildings.
That said, I've enjoyed it so far, despite minor nitpicks.

All the mutants and whatnot running around I'm not sure they'd even realize it was an alien.
I loved the patrolling the Mojave part, was a nice little dig at overly repetitive Bethesda NPC dialogue.
The Zetan stuff was a treat, the corpse, stun baton, blaster pistol and scout ship. I was thinking that I would really like to see Zetans in the show and when Area 51 appeared my hopes went high and were met.
I didn't recognise the Legion slave robes at first but as soon as the latin came out I was like ooh. Will be interesting to learn what the 87 tribes have been up to since being pushed out of Vegas.
The Brotherhood civil war is interesting, they are quite detached from each other in the games, as someone who sided with the Brotherhood in 4 I feel validated. Institute and Railroad endings cannot be canon here.

Novac also doesn't have a swimming pool, but did in the show.
For those scenes they filmed at a real abandoned motel, it has since been demolished.
