NCIS franchise

Was it ever announced how many episodes the current season of NCIS Sydney will have?
In an interview, the showrunner explained CBS is "deathly allergic" to making it public how many episodes a season will have while it's still airing, but we can "probably expect" season 3 to have more episodes than the first two did.

My personal belief, it'll have 16-20 episodes. Probably closer to 16.

@Finngle Bells - you are not wrong! That would have been exactly what he would have done!

I've really enjoyed the last few episodes, more than I have in a long time. I hope it continues.

So, is it me, or did anyone else thing the murderer on this week's Sydney, the guy who owned the gun range, looked a bit like Jonathan Frakes?

Nope, never crossed my mind.
The riffle owner
however looked familiar somehow - probably from some other TV show or movie.

I was in stitches :guffaw:when the new handyman guy and then Evie did the podcast questions to Mackey & JD. Also, fantastic practical thinking by the handyman trying to do the car wheel repair, going all in with the beers. He's quirky and fun, unlike Blue.

So anyone know what's going on with this week's Sydney? Tonight was supposed to be the midseason finale, South of Nowhere about the team being called to investigate a death in Antarctica. But when I was looking up my cable's TV guide for tonight, Sydney was removed and replaced with a rerun of OG NCIS from last season on both Global and CBS. And while checking Futon Critic, they just have a note that says "the listing has been deleted and is no longer considered valid." with no further explanation.

My cable's TV guide, Futon Critic and all other sources do still list OG's midseason finale as airing tonight.

Haven^t heard or read anything otherwise.
According to Spoiler TV and TV Line the "mid season" finale is indeed supposed to air tonight.

“South of Nowhere” –
The team races to an Antarctica research base to investigate why a climate scientist killed a colleague on Polar Night Eve – and make it out before their plane engine freezes and they’re trapped in darkness for six months
, on NCIS: SYDNEY, Tuesday, Dec. 16 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+

Just checked the guide from my cable provider and they've got Sydney at 9pm and Origins at 10pm.

According to TVLine, it was pulled (no reason given) to air at a late date.

Speculation is it is because of what happened this past weekend at Bondi Beach.
