Requiem for Methuselah Script Query

Methuselah Flint

Fleet Captain
Fleet Captain
Last year I purchased the original yellow-cover first draft annotated director's script for RFM.

Due to financial circumstances, I've sadly had to sell my other scripts, but RFM is (I know I'm in a minority) my favourite episode, and I'm reluctant to part with it for too low an offer.

I bought it for $800 on Ebay

I have had an offer of $532. Currently my only offer.

I fully appreciate RFM is at the bottom of fan favourites, and as such many people would not pay too much for it, even if it is the director's script.

Anyone here no much about the value of a script such as this?

A collector friend of mine says:
I think the offer he got is currently reasonable for the episode and an eBay sales. He’s not going to get top dollar on eBay or for that ep. The last script I bought was a few months ago for a rainbow Shore Leave and I only paid $500 for it.

He might get more at an auction house but the hassle and premiums would eat it up.

A collector friend of mine says:
Thanks mate. Good to hear an opinion on it.

To be honest, I do agree with that.

I sold Deadly Years/For The World/Gideon for £400 but they're not as 'special' as RFM for me. And not top fan favs.

Is your mate the same guy who offered me £400? Said buyer bought the above scripts.
