News Stranger Things - Season 5

Yeah, it went from being one of the channels I watched the most thanks to stuff like the Arrowverse shows, the Vampire Diaries stuff, and the Supernatural stuff and now I only watch Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit on there.

I know the Arrowverse got bad in the later years, but I do sometimes miss it. That era when you had that 4 day crossover event and just shows on constantly was memorable.

We are less than 40 days from the premiere of Season 5. I guess I should start the rewatch pretty soon so I can pace myself on the Season 4 movie episodes.

And now for some actual news with a slight tease about Linda Hamilton's Dr. Kay, courtesy of Empire:

"Hamilton joins the cast of Stranger Things 5 as Dr. Kay – a government agent who’s hunting down Eleven. Governmental figures historically haven’t been on the side of good in the show, and Dr. Kay looks set to be another antagonistic force in the final run. “She’s hyper-intelligent and intimidating,” Matt Duffer tells Empire in our Stranger Things 5 issue. And despite her smarts, she’ll also be getting stuck in on the action too. “She’s a scientist but if she needs to, she can get into a fight and shoot a gun,” teases Matt. Eleven, watch your back!"

Sounds like her role in Resident Alien. Government official who was hunting down Harry at first.

Considering the source is Puck and the Duffers just said to Variety that the idea was shot down by the Netflix, I won't believe it until I see actual theater listings.

...and even if it did happen, my shitty local theater probably won't even feature it. :(
