They should just make Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2 a season-long reboot of A New Hope from Obi-Wan's perspective.

Would love to see the reboot of ANH and the OT with Ewan McGregor. The PT feels so differently than the OT that it feels natural to move through that story in a better connection with Ewan, and Jimmy Smits, and so on.

Everything is canon. Soon the canon will establish that the sequel trilogy took place in a alternate universe. Also Han shot not just first but was the only one to get a shot off. Also Jabba didn't have that horrible CGI concert in Jedi.
