News Jimmy Kimmel Show "Removed" Indefinitely

Damn them for not giving a ratturd about anyone, not even themselves.

OVER ONE MILLION DEAD WHO WERE FORGOTTEN LIKE YESTERDAYS FAST FOOD

Covid killed my neighbor Tiffany across the hall. Her mate has been trying to cope with the loss, but his life was turned upside down and he's not done very well since. I caught it in '22 and if I hadn't been vax'd, it would have killed me.
I've still got Long Covid.

Anti-maskers and anti-vaxxers during the pandemic were no different than whiny, petulant five year olds throwing conniption fits because they were forced to take a bath at night. Exactly. The. Same. With the same intelligence and maturity level.

Definitely similar, but in many ways much much worse, when you have a minority imposing their will and beliefs onto the population. Grown men and women who should be knowing better.

Without getting too political, I'll say this: in Canada, hundreds of Anti-vaxxers camped out with their Semi Trucks in the center of the capital city for 3 weeks during the pandemic. They would honk their horns almost incessantly in residential areas preventing residents from sleeping. They would also enter soup kitchens and forcibly demand food meant for the homeless. Along with demands came the rhetoric, often violent, accompanied by defacement of military statues, all while claiming it was all for peace and love. Their goal was to boot out the government, install their own puppet and run their own civilian militia. They were told to cease their activities and leave, and when they didn't, the PM had to invoke emergency measures to call in the national guard to remove them forcibly. And to this day, there are some who believe the use of the national guard wasn't warranted.

This feels like a backlash to cancel culture.
This feels indistinguishable from “cancel culture,” except that this is driven by government action (unconstitutional and profoundly un-American) rather than popular sentiment (so sad but too bad).

There’s also the fact that “cancel culture” was typically operating in opposition to bigotry, while recent events are in service of canonizing it.

I never said it made sense.
