The Librarians: The Next Chapter Season 1

I enjoyed the show. The writing is pretty mediocre, but I have to lower my expectations for this show. My favorite two episodes are the one with Cupid, the actor was fantastic, and the one with the tarot cards. I liked the Ghost Train the least as the plotting was a mess.

It's basically Doctor Who if you replace the TARDIS with the annex, the Librarian with the Doctor, and treat the rest of the cast as companions. It's a little different from the original series. The actors in that one seemed more seasoned, and having them be librarians was an interesting twist.

I do like that the show still goes back to the Camelot methodology.

Finished it and was a fantastic show from beginning to end.
No filler eps, everyone looks perfect for the part, Vikram saying goodbye to his wife was sweet and great that it's already renewed.
Hope to get S02 by next year!

Pretty good finale, resolving the threads and ending up the way it was obviously going to, with the team getting accepted as Librarians after all. I was never all that impressed with Gregor as an archvillain, though.

Once I saw that the Sword of Mars could levitate like Excalibur, I figured we were heading for a climactic fight between the two swords, but I expected the swords to do it themselves instead of being wielded.

By the way, the time-travel episode filmed some scenes on what was recognizably the same castle location used by Jessica Green's previous Dean Devlin-produced series, The Outpost. Although I wonder if it's a real location or a leftover set, since the first season of The Outpost was filmed in Utah before they relocated to Serbia, and presumably they recreated at least some of the sets to the same design.

this was a pretty good spinoff

i wonder if they will crossovers with the original series and team ups with the entire original cast

More are planned for season 2. Check out the related groups on Facebook.

But I doubt we'll get Noah as his show the PITT is firing on all cylinders. The same happened before when he was doing Falling Skies when the original series aired.

what if they had someone else play as flynn but it will be acknowledged to why flynn looks so different

I hope John Larroquette can make an appearance.
I really enjoyed him from the first series.

I have only seen up to the vampire show, but it makes sense that they would be invited to become librarians.

This is a light, very entertaining show. I am enjoying it very much, and I am glad they are making another season.

It kind of bugged me that the show assumed the only possibilities were "actual Librarian" and "outsider only grudgingly tolerated to be there." I mean, real libraries have volunteer workers all the time.

You still have to be chosen by the library.

In the first series, the volunteers were not accepted at first.

And most volunteers are eventually accepted as Librarians. It just takes a bit of time.

Addendum: I watched the last episode last night.
Good series. Can’t wait for the next one.
