Had a dinner with Mom in Austin, helped her get a new handbag and we went out to dinner.
Spent a lot of time taking care of her dog, who is sweet as can be .

Made it all the way from west of Austin to south of Houston without a traffic jam.

Customer came in looking for a specific set of tires that I couldn't source, so, I handed the customer off to Paul.
Paul and the customer got to talking, and they discovered they had a lot of common interests.
By the end of the sale, the customer, as a season ticket holder of the Seattle Kraken, had invited Paul and his girlfriend to his suite at the home opener at Climate Pledge Arena.

I finally saw an orthopedist about the pain I've had in my left ankle for some months now. Turns out I have arthritis in that ankle (which I somewhat suspected). They gave me an ankle brace which already seems to help a bit (at least I'm not limping anymore). I got a referral for physical therapy -- just have to choose a PT from the recommended list and set up a treatment schedule. The doctor also recommended that I get orthotic shoe insoles for my flat feet. I wore Dr. Scholl's arch supports when I was in my teens, although I don't know if they did any good. Anyway, it couldn't hurt, as they say.
I am bone-on-bone in my right ankle, and as I am considering replacement surgery - fun fact; the titanium replacement ankles comes from our good friends in China - I have gotten considerable relief from this ankle brace…$30-ish bucks on Amazon…it was recommended by my Ortho Rehab person…good luck!
The pilot of the Homestuck show came out today! I just got done watching it and it was pretty cool!
Mine is an Össur Formfit. It looks similar to yours except that it has a detachable elastic cuff at the top.
BTW, do you think you could reduce the size of the photo in your post? It's overflowing my monitor.
I don't know which mods you wrote to, but for reference, your image seemed properly scaled into the post frame to me. I didn't notice anything unusual with it.

Busy, productive day at the Printing Museum. After a completely dead morning, we were suddenly flooded with visitors. And I also managed to print a few hundred Linecasting Department bags (we were running very low on them).
What city are you in? Working in the printing industry, I've always been fascinated by older printing technology, especially Linotype machines.
Sort of good? I broke my laptop when I suffered syncope due to my vagus nerve. Why sorta good? Despite being 8 years old, Micro$oft declared that it wasn't able to run Win11 and I was debating on whether to try advice from PC mag about trying a particular network version of Win11 which doesn't access whatever it is M$ is needing for regular W11, or doing what I am now which is using a Chromebook. Dilemna resolved!
For those who don't know, M$ is ending support for W10 next month.
It sure rubs me the wrong way to have the choice of scrapping a perfectly good machine forced upon me. If I buy a replacement in the future, it'll be something refurbished off eBay.
