Spoilers Wednesday (Addams) Netflix Show

This sounds like the writers understand a relationship is wrong for her. And I agree. It's just not who she is at this point in her life.
In their recent interviews, the writers talk as if they are still in love with Tyler on Wednesday, and a large portion of the fans want a lesbian relationship.

Also interviews given today:

Also, Ortega used a phrase like "I support the fans" to keep the show from losing viewership. But I don't think the character wants a love relationship at all. Also:

They probably wrote a love story in the third season, that's why they talk like that. I say they wrote it because they want to bring the third season quickly.

That was a massive spoiler in the trailer. I wonder why they would give that away. I do like that Weems is coming back though as I have really missed the Weems/Wednesday dynamic.

Fun behind-the-scenes featurette about the stop-motion sequence:

You gotta love how they put (Addams) in the thread title, lest people think it's about some other show called Wednesday or maybe one that airs on Wednesdays :guffaw:

I could see that. I think the long wait between seasons doesn't help, either. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we got Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, but it had been so long since season one that my wife and I had to watch a couple of YouTube recaps.

In the past, there would be social media debates among fanbases about the couples in these teen shows. However, the show now has a rather queer or homophobic fanbase, and some have lived through some bad experiences. Furthermore, according to interviews, the writers have said they were heavily inspired by the '90s Buffy. However, the "bad boy" character they wanted to create in "that" show and "Wednesday" doesn't fit the "bad boy" type found in today's teen shows. In particular, there are no "bad boy" characters like Speak in today's series and movies. While the main characters in today's teen shows, what we call "bad boys," may bully, they never try to kill or rape. They often bully high school students, act extremely flirtatious, and then change when the main character falls in love.

What??????
There are a lot of gay fans on social media who want a relationship between Wednesday and Enid. There are also fans who want a relationship between Wednesday and Tyler due to recent interviews with the writers, and who have made some pretty homophobic comments.

I doubt the fanbase is that binary.
