I meant more the spelling out of the three possible paths to technological immortality. I don’t know, to me it just “felt” much like the intro card in Blade Runner. The style for sure, it's more or less the MU-TH-UR interface. But I don't believe the style was what FredH meant when he described it. But I could be wrong.![]()
Except for the cat. That deeply sickened me. Never do that again. Ever.
I didn't like either eps but I am willing to give the season a try.Wait, what? I still need to watch the second episode.....How bad is it?

EDIT: Sorry I didn't answer the question, but, if you're a cat lover like me and my family, you'll hate it.
Personal rec: I didn't like either episode, but you might.Dammit.... This seriously makes me reconsider watching this episode....

I like shows where they get to the point straight up.
Loved the entire season of The Librarians Next Chapter, very much enjoying Dexter:Resurrection.
But this show.. eh. Not that great a start.
I enjoyed the first one well enough. We'll see. I need to get in the right mindset now, knowing this scene will come up.
Uh...yes? Yes it does. The Alien franchise really lends itself to the horror genre so easily.
Dammit.... This seriously makes me reconsider watching this episode....
I like Hawley’s work on Fargo but every season, there are at least 2 very self-indulgent episodes that nearly put me off and I felt that Legion leaned too far in that way, and stopped me watching after a while. Is there any reason to try this show if I enjoy the general Alien franchise a good deal (outside of Prometheus) but loathe Legion? I don't like Hawley's work in general, but I like Alien as a franchise enough to consider giving it a try if its not too much like Hawley's other work. I especially hated the "trippy" and slow burn elements of Legion (based on the few episodes I watched), and I could see this show easily falling down that hole.
While they won't namedrop explicitly due to IP licensing, one of the five megacorps is 100% Tyrell Corporation. Just has to be. Blade Runner and Alien are a single universe.
Yuuuup. That's going to be a rude awakening when it happens. The Hybrids have some sort of control mechanism built into their bodies and/or psyches that is going to come up as an issue at some point.
I think you're precisely right which will lead to quite the existential crisis. The original kids are still alive, on ice in stasis. That's what the weird guy in the tunnel with the nozzle on the island is all about. Something slightly weird going on anyway, I think. They hybrids are going to find out they are copies.
