The streaming versions of DS9 and VOY on Fandango (formerly Vudu) are basically unwatchable for me.

For some reason, on every episode for both shows there are numerous times where the picture flickers between shots. It's incredibly annoying. I would post a pic of it on here but when I tried to take a screenie it just showed a black screen so the best way I can describe this flickering is that there are horizontal lines across the screen. It looks a bit like screen tearing while playing a video game on a PC.

What's weird is that the Paramount Plus versions of DS9 and VOY don't have this problem. It's only the Fandango version.

Anyone have any fixes for this?

Yeah, some online versions are not de-interlaced properly.

I wonder, do the DVD versions have this same problem? On a 4K TV I mean.

The DVDs do have interlacing, but that should be taken care of by your player or TV. ...But definitely look further into that! I'm not savvy enough to help with that.
