Got to snuggle with my cat and listen to music.
I finished work today for my holiday, going to Greece tomorrow for a family wedding, happy days.
Nice! Sounds fun.
Well this had an interesting start, we picked mother in law up at 4.30am, heads to airport, gets to check in. She hands over her old passport which expired in 1994.
No way of us getting it in time for the flight. Had to book 3 flights from another airport, head home pick up passport, taxi to new airport. Eventually got here about 10 hours late. Considering everything that wasn't too bad.
Crawling around pulling weeds in the garden, and had two ripe tomatoes near the ground, you couldn't see while standing. We have had high temperatures 10 to 20 degrees (90s F) below what we usually get, and it takes a longer for tomatoes to ripen than when the highs are above 100F. BLT for lunch today, and until these two tomatoes are gone.
Eeesh! Someone needs to help MIL sort out her papers, poor thing, so that sort of thing doesn't happen again.

When I switched my direct deposit of Social Security retirement check to a different credit union using the online portal, it was going to take 5 months before the switch occurred. I didn't want to wait that long and I had to go to the county seat anyway for other business, so I stopped by the local Social Security office. The new rule is you now need an appointment for most business, one of the exceptions, changing your direct deposit. After a 30-minute wait, I got it done, and my next month check will go to the new credit union. They only had 9 out of 18 windows open. When I was there in October 2023, to start Social Security retirement payments, all 18 windows were open and no appointments were needed for any business with them.
