Four actually. The the big two-part series crossover with STAR TREK:ORVILLE will have one of the episodes basically be filmed and made by the ORVILLE people.

That is how I will always see the show. To me it is Star Trek. I was bringing it up also in reference to listing shows that felt like TNG.
Being like TNG was a turn off for me.
Not for me. I don't think TNG is the best Trek show. I give that to TOS. TNG though will always have a special place in my heart.

Please, at this point you're just trying to get reactions out of people. I've noticed when you refer to the various Star Trek shows, you don't refer to them by their full name of Star Trek: Whatever. You just refer to them as their names sans the Star Trek label or their abbreviations. IE, in this thread you have referred to TOS and TNG as TOS or TNG as opposed to Star Trek The Original Series or Star Trek The Next Generation. By constantly typing out "Star Trek Orville" instead of just "The Orville" or just "Orville" you are intentionally going out of your way to post something you know at this point gets reactions out of people. There's a word I could use to describe it, but moderators tend not to approve of us referring to other posters publicly by that word.
Well it is joke but it is also how I like to think of it as well since I am the only person that actually considers it real Star Trek. No other Trek show is doubted as being real Star Trek. So you don't even need to refer to them as being Star Trek because we all know without a doubt they are real Trek.
What's funny is I do think of it as STAR TREK:ORVILLE in my mind so much I have noticed that I do that in other situations as well. Like the other day I was looking up something about it on Youtube and I typed in STAR TREK:ORVILLE in the search engine forgetting that only me and everyone here even thinks of it like that or thinks of me thinking of it like that. Mostly though I also don't see what the big deal is. I call it that even now when I talk about it while not making a joke. It's just how I reference it.

But it's not just a joke to me. That's what I am saying. It's how I think of the show as well. Sometimes I might make a sort of joke with it but it's how I also view the show as well. I am having a Trek marathon right now and I literally watch the show as part of that marathon.
