Heh, I liked it! Predictably goofy, but Strange New Worlds does goofy relatively well for the most part. Not utterly lacking in more serious dramatic beats, too.

Other than the final 10 seconds (The too slow stuff which felt slightly corny), it was a nice trailer. I guess Scotty is sticking around. I hope part two of the cliffhanger is great though. I feel like they've spoiled it a lot, unintentionally.

Although, Melanie Scrofano is lead on a new show which is premiering this week, which was likely filming around the same time as SNW, so I don't think she'll be in S3 that often anyway...

Could be one of the stories told in “Wedding Bell Blues”. Something happens to Pike that prompts him to envision her, or an alien impersonates her - you know, the classic Star Trek score. “This form, this being, you cannot let it go,” that stuff.
