I'm loving this season so far. It looks fake, but it's funny as all hell. Loved the elimination tonight with Christina's crying and Jen running her mouth. God I hope Jen is gone soon. Someone shut her up.
With that lead-up...I half expected Ramsey to surpise everybody and kick out one of the men (even though they won the challenge)...
So did I. For a second there I thought Petrosa was going home. I mean he doesn't even know the menu and he has shown he can't conform to a team environment. He was ripe to go home in a surprise twist tonight.
The that guy that looks like he's gone piss his pants/ cry whenever Ramsey talks to him makes me laugh

The chef's aren't very good though. Are they not allowed to have recipes with them to reference when cooking?

I'm the misogynist Jason is gone. MAN I was tired of his bullshit. And as soon as he quit I knew he was done. If there's anything I've learned from this series is that Ramsey doesn't abide quitters. In past seasons when someone has quit during service Ramsey has given them pep-talks to pull them back in through the service but then they're usually the next to go.
Good riddance. I kind of wish something (nicer) had been said to Bobby (?) about how handled the diners in the dining room with his family-style idea with the tableside chicken dinner.
And, damn, that skinny blonde chick they all hate looks DAMN good in a bikini!
Louross remains my favorite player right now. He seems good at trying to motivate his team mates, he's one yet who hasn't buckled or failed under the pressure and he has good energy about him. I'm pulling for him.
Pretty good episode. Good-bye Jason. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out!

Not near as I've even been able to tell. They're supposed to be fairly basic recipies any amature chef or "cook" can do (and Ramsey's cooking style is very basic and simple) but they are given the recipes and menus in the dorms they should be studying every moment they're not in the kitchen or sleeping. Not, you know, smoking cigarettes and drinking in the hot-tub with babes.
But cooking a basic risotto or steak isn't all that hard and they constantly manage to mess it up.
The DVDs for the first season are out. If they're available on Netflix or similar service I reccomend them. It was probably the best season.
Right, no way he was going to hand the chefs a cleaver.
