What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

Fare enough, they did use a good amount of TrekNoBabble.

Hahahaha...I highly doubt that. Therapists are boring as shit.
Not really, it might be boring to you the laymen, but there's a reason why there are so many Therapist Reality Shows.

I think outside the box ;)
I'll substitute that box with a HyperCube.

The caregiver's curse. It was a special day in my family recently and my family insisted upon celebrating it. I couldn't stand it but accepted it regardless.

Such is the way of things :)
I haven't celebrated my Birthday since I was a child, that's by design.
I just don't care to celebrate it anymore.
It's just another day.

The people who worked on the show have admitted it is gibberish.
Depends on what part.

Some of it is actual Gibberish, the other parts do make sense if you understand how modern tech works.

Cause I do understand a good amount of the Technical end, especially when it comes to the operation of the systems on the ship.

Therapist reality shows? Wow, were do I sign up for the ethics violation

Pretty sure that's a foodstuff on TOS

I don't care to celebrate it either. It still happens.

And that's part of the fun of relationships. Give and take, and appreciating differences :)

You just need to be willing to throw your ethics out the window and want TV $$$

I was refering to this type of HyperCube.

I'm happy you're happy.

I always celebrate my birthday. Even if I'm now middle-aged and went to start giving some of those birthdays back! As far as I'm concerned, it's my own personal holiday.
I'm glad you do what you want to do.

I have no intention of ever celebrating it ever again.

Birthdays are good to celebrate. Why? Because it means that you are still alive. Which is a good thing, because by being...just alive mind you annoy some people.

On the other hand, I get to read your posts and think deeply on them.

How very dour of you. Sometimes you have to celebrate your birthday just because other people want to celebrate you, regardless of your opinion on the matter.

For example: Today is my birthday. I'm 41, not exactly an important milestone. I'm also currently 3 days into a temporary layoff and not exactly in the greatest of moods. But my son came into the bedroom and woke me up with a big "Happy Birthday Hug." Later tonight, when my wife and son get home, I'm gonna cook myself a big tomahawk steak and celebrate my birthday, not for me, but for those around me. If it were up to me, I'd probably treat today like a normal day and move on. But you know what? That birthday hug felt good. That steak is gonna taste great. If you have a reason to celebrate, even something as mundane as turning 41, might as well just roll with it and maybe you'll have a pretty good day. I think we could all use more good days...

All of this is so very important. Embrace each moment, because they’ll never happen again.
