The Least Disliked Episode 2025 - VOY Season 6

So, here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your least favourite or the one you deem the 'worst.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode just because you feel it would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win.
Pretty simple. Enjoy! :bolian:

There are several easy choices to kill immediately.

"UNIMATRIX ZERO" is gone.

One of THE worst in the franchise because it not only was the final nail in the coffin of defanging the Borg, but this episode also made light of the trauma and horror of what Seven AND Picard went through when they were assimilated and completely undermined the terror and horror of assimilation. (By getting assimilated on purpose and then just shrug it off a week later like it was a bad cold.) Plus, just screwing with the audience with Kim not getting a box on his chair.

Congratulations to this episode for undermining not only an entire species, but TWO of your own characters plus a character from another show.

Exorcising "SPIRIT FOLK".

It was just a bad episode. Plus, Janeway looked bad when she didn't immediately have the holodeck shut off when Tom and Harry were in danger.

Unimatrix is terminated from the collective, Fury is erased from the timeline, and Spirit Folk is deleted like Frannie Sullivan. Three serious stinkers, sent to oblivion. Too bad the writers didn't do the same beforehand.

I didn't think Alice was that horrible, but it was certainly nothing special.

Oh, there is one more this season that I consider another among the worst of VOY. If no one else kills it, I already have my post typed and ready to be copied and pasted.

It is the winter solstice for Equinox 2, a less than thrilling conclusion with sudden redemption stories, and very temporary internal conflicts culminating in a happily ever after.

"Memorial." Tedious, repetitive telling of a story we've seen a million times before.

Silencing "VIRTUOSO".

This was a big character damaging episode for The Doctor, who was ready to leave ALL his friends behind for fame. Plus, it made Janeway look bad because she was going to let the ONLY medical officer on board leave the ship permanently. (This was a mistake on her part for years... Tom is a fine medic, sure, but she should have made sure there was at least ONE other person aboard who could be trained as a full on doctor.)

Collective can go. Foster mother was not exactly the most compelling directions to have taken Seven of Nine and the ship certainly wasn't missing having children on it.

Child's Play goes to time-out due to Janeway's incredible hypocrisy. After sacrificing one person to save two, she throws a fit about people sacrificing one person to save a planet.

That is kind of a point, and Starfleet were happy to use Hugh in such a manner as well.

Taking out "THE VOYAGER CONSPIRACY".

Janeway and Chakotay's quick distrust and arming themselves just made no sense at this point of the show. In season 1 or 2, sure. I might even buy season 3 if I was feeling generous. But season 6? Absurd.

I'm surprised Fair Haven lasted this long - it's a terribly twee environment.

Very cheesy.

The Haunting of Deck Twelve is quite a boring episode and once again hinges on me caring about the children. Spoiler warning I don't.

The premise of "Life Line" is too much of a stretch for me to care about the episode.

"ASHES TO ASHES" is now dust to dust.

Terrible Kim episode, partly because Kim Rhodes acted circles around him.

And she died tens of thousands of lights away, with her new father clearly catching up easily, plus backup... but NOBODY stopped to ask her about her propulsion system?!

Maybe it could have gotten them a lot closer to home, if not there.
