What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

It bores me. More of the same, just with an Enterprise-G with an uninspiring look and history and all hamfistedly cobbled together because, I guess, Seven of Nine and a new Enterprise. I'm sure if it got made it'd look cinematic and have lavish aesthetics, but if we're doing an early 25th century series I don't want the Enterprise-G to be the hero ship.

Legacy, as Matalas presents it, wouldn't be exploring strange new worlds, it would be an exercise in revisiting nostalgic familiar old worlds. It wouldn't be taking the franchise forward, it would just be stuck looking in the rearview in a continuous death-spiral.

At the current turnover there will be an Enterprise H or I. ;)
