You're not far off. Only about a third of any given Trek series is "good".
Over 900 episodes, about 40 good ones.
Yet in Trek, sometimes the universally mocked ones are the fun and even good ones.

The thread is about Controversial Trek Opinions. I think that means things that you don't like that are commonly seen as a positive in the franchise.
There's nothing controversial about "Rick Berman is a dick" or "Rick Berman should apologize".

Depends, sometimes if one digs too hard, that unfettered access can become restricted very quickly.
