Spider-Man needs to be more than a cameo. He should be one of the main characters. I mean who is even the protagonist of this film? I mean it would be kind of unique if was Doom. A movie told from the perspective of the bad guy but I am not sure they would do that, even with Downey Jr in the role. If not I suppose maybe Loki. He is the guy who can sort of see into multiple worlds and connect them. In fact I I am now thinking he might be how the Fantastic 4 get to the main timeline.
 
I admit I was surprised when I saw Sentry's name on there, I thought for sure he'd be a one and done character after Thunderbolts considering what a storybreaker Sentry tends to be

Didn't we already have a "save the multiverse from destruction" storyline in Loki, though? In which case it would make sense that they'd want to do something different in the movie.

Don't know why people were expecting Tom Holland. He's shooting 'The Odyssey' now and then shooting Spider-Man 4, so what were they going to do clone him?

Hmm, cloning Spider-Man, that would make a good story. Maybe they could cal the other one Ben?
 
Some big surprises in there for me, I didn't not expect to see so many of the FoX-Men back, although I am a little disappointed to see Kelsey Grammer back. Tenoch Huerta was a surprise, not so much because of the accusations since nothing became of them, more just because Namor pretty much disappeared after Wakanda Forever. I'm happy to the rest of them back though,
I'm glad Tom Hiddleston is back, with the way Loki ended it would have been strange not for him not to be involved.
I'm a little surprised to see the Thunderbolts* in this, I figured they'd leave them and the Avengers to deal with their own separate threats.
I'm shocked Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds aren't back, but I guess they might not show up until Secret Wars.

According to THR, a second cast announcement will be made, but it is not clear when or how it will happen, they may be among the actors who will be in that announcement.
