Although, I imagine some changes are to be expected anyway. Like much of Heinlein's work, Starship Troopers is more manifesto than it is story. Manifestos don't really translate well as movies, so we should expect more of an emphasis on crafting a narrative. And though I do like the Verhoeven movie for its cheese factor, I also would like for this movie to have absolutely noting to do with that.
Why have I got in my head they already remade this....goes away googles it, seems it has twice, a 'sequel' and the roommate.
I really enjoyed the original, probably helped by the fact it had Bridget Fonda in mind.

They gave it to the writer of the Percy Jackson TV series. If it's going to be a combination of Percy Jackson and superhero movies, this will definitely work. But Marvel's team movies would be a medium-budget carpet. From there, it was a spin-off series. It will continue with Disney Plus movies.
In a Galaxy Long Time Ago John Wick had his puppy killed while walking across the street by Dom Toretto during a illegal street Race. This made John Wick want to become Batman to fight crime. Realizing he would need a Butler he hires Benoit Blanc to be his buter who can of course help him in his new role as the greatest detective as well. First thing he does is take Dom Toretto's 1070 Dodge Charger to become his Batmobile after sending him to prison for illegal street racing, while also getting justice for his puppy.
Daniel Craig is cast as Alfred. We see him begin his story as the Stormtrooper guarding Rey in The Force Awakens. After she used the mind trick to get him to release her, he wandered off and got sucked into an alternate reality where he changed his name to Benoit Blanc and solved mysteries which involve fast cars and an underground society of assassins until eventually meeting Thomas Wayne, who hires him as his butler, during which he reverts to his birthname Alfred.
Former assassin turned smuggler John Wick is brought out of retirement when his Wookie co-pilot is killed. The trail leads him to a planet owned by the Wayne family, a prominent Imperial family. There he's caught up in a locked room mystery. The suspects include Wayne, a pod racer named Toretto, a Wookie who claims to be Wick's co-pilot's wife and an Imperial governor.
I loved the previous series. We'll see if they can do it again.

Candidates: Apple, Netflix and Skydance, if Netflix buys Bourne it will be shit. And it may not make a sequel or a season. Apple can make a decent movie or series. But it doesn't have a box office hit. Also, streaming loses $1 billion every year and its future in streaming is uncertain. Skydance can make a good movie. If Paramount merges, they can also make a good series for Taylor Sheridan.
