How do you rate Captain America: Brave New World?

I will not be seeing this movie due to the inclusion of Sabra, but it seems like it has been rated one of the lowest reviewed movies for some time and the trailers back this up. Seems pretty clear to me that "Endgame" should have been the end of Marvel and they should have tried something new.

I'm only concerned with Cap4 being a great chapter in the Captain America end of Marvel. To that end it has at least two films to live up to and/or surpass in quality.
I'm curious as to what your "Before you Watch it" prediction as to how it'll score (IYO) vs "After you Watch it" would be..
I don't know if you have any expectations for it Good/Bad?

I myself am going in there kind of neutral, not expecting much except to be on a standard "Captain America" level movie.

No, ending it with Endgame would have been a waste

I would never advocate for it having ended at Endgame.

If it did we wouldn't have Guardians 3 (or the Holiday Special), or Spidey 2 and 3. (Don't @ me about them being Sony. If the MCU was over, those movies would be completely different, and possibly garbage.)

I've liked a lot of the other stuff too (most of it) but those are the main ones I'd be angry about losing.

I see.

Endgame's conclusion planted the seeds for characters to grow beyond being 2nd string players to Rogers, Stark and Thor. Sam Wilson's sociopolitical narrative--while not a dominant sub-plot for him until the streaming series--was hinted at as far back as Civil War, and it was clear he was just as committed to true justice as his best friend, only he would reach that goal through a very different, dangerous path (as explored in the comics dealing with Sam becoming Captain America). Shutting down the MCU with Endgame would have robbed the Cap-universe fans of something they knew was in the making.

I agree that "Endgame" should have been the end of the franchise. However, it's too bad that I regard "Endgame" as one of my least favorite movies in the MCU. I really hated it. But I do believe it should have ended the franchise.

If there's one thing that I miss about my previous marriage, it's that my ex really enjoyed going to the movies. My wife does not enjoy going to the theater and no matter what the movie, she tends to fall asleep thanks to the fancy/comfy chairs our nearby theaters have. I don't really have anyone else to go see movies with, as my kids are grown and doing their own things. I'll probably ask my son if he wants to go, with with a wife and small child, his time is pretty well taken up. First world problems, I know, but I really want to see this in a theater.

Watched the Jeremy Jahns and Dan Murrell reviews the other day, and they both seemed to agree it was mid, but not the worst movie from this era of the MCU. Better than The Marvels, better than Quantumania. Slow-paced, meh fight scenes, and a beginning half which felt like it had been extensively reshot. Good side is the back half of the movie is much better, and this apparently ties up several loose ends across this era of the MCU. And Harrison Ford is great as Ross.

Well if there's any sequel(s), hopefully some more connective characters show up. With the likes of Patriot, Crossbones, Arnim Zola, Vermin, Nomad, Free Spirit and Golden Girl appearing then & there.

I haven't seen it yet, but I saw a non-spoiler review that said it needed more exposition, which is a twist. Although, I could perhaps see where they're coming from as this movie draws from a lot of disparate sources, including a Disney plus television show, a movie that comparatively not a lot of people saw, and a movie that came out 13 years ago.
