Game DS9 Episode Pitch Game

Nightcrawler

After a lighthearted argument between Dax and Worf that one of them had moved items in the night and Worf's protest that Dax is not tidy, other crew chime in to talk of night time oddities. The crew gradually piece together that they have been having unusual events at night with strange dreams, moved items and other disturbances.

After Quark is found wandering the Promenade in his night clothes, they find messages written in ancient Bajoran in one of the abandoned shops - clearly work from multiple people over multiple nights. But what could the messages mean? And why won't Quark wake up?

What lies Beneath

While exploring the depths of a cave, two Bajoran children discover an ancient Bajoran temple.
When the temple is identified, great fear troubles the Vedeks, because Prophecy tells of a Tear of the Prophets that will destroy Bajor.
The Provisional government decides that Sisko should investigate the orb; since he is both the Emissary, and a Star Fleet Officer.
Dax, Worf, and Bashir investigate the temple. They are intrigued when Garak asks to tag along.

“When comes the Night” : DS9 hosts the deathbed watch/funeral procession of Bajor's oldest citizen, Remnai Sabel, whose end is imminent. She refuses to reconcile with Jadzia, because former Dax host Curzon was once her friend until she shut him out for reasons she won't explain. Jadzia asks Kira to speak to her, as she feels the hurt Curzon once felt when Sabel alienated him all those years ago for no known reason. Meanwhile, Jake and Nog make the best of the stimulating side effects of an alien beverage (they can't fall asleep) and stay up all night to see once and for all what DS9 night life is like, but they're in for a few surprises.

When a Starfleet Inspector arrives at DS9, his questions arouse suspicion. Doctor Bashir is the first to suspect he may not be what he seems.
The Inspector turns out to be from an organization within starfleet, the as yet unknown Section 31.

“The Unseen Danger” - Quark's becomes the site of a disease outbreak after several visitors from a Roblean passenger ship celebrate there. When people begin to fall ill and the station goes into quarantine, rumors and innuendo run rampant. The most deadly thing may not be the disease, but the suspicion and hatred directed towards the apparent source. Jake helps Dr. Bashir trace the true origins of the outbreak, and in the process, may be the only ones to save the station's sanity.

Home Court Advantage

Doctor Bashir hosts a spring ball tournament on DS9, and all players are welcomed. Things become a little tense when two Cardassians enter the tournament, but they are just there to compete.
While the attention is on the Cardassians, another team attempts to gain secrets from the station.
Jake and Nog follow the pair, and discover that the two are planning to destroy the station from the inside.
In an unlikely twist, the two terrorists are stopped by the Cardassian players.
Doctor Bashir asks Garek about the Cardassian team, but he denies any knowledge of the plot, or the players.

“In the Shadow of the Son”: Jake Sisko is revered as a tehsolesh, the Successor, by a splinter Bajoran group who thinks Emissary Benjamin is the false messiah and Jake will cast him out, according to their apocryphal writings. While initially amusing and annoying, things turn dark and deadly when a woman who is obsessed with currying the tehsolesh's favor will go to any lengths to get it...even if it means slaying the False One herself. Meanwhile, Molly is jealous of the new baby's attention and pretends to be sick, so Miles enlists Julian's help in talking her out of it.

"Daredevil" - A former Bajoran Resistance member is trapped between his own faith in a rebuilding Bajor and an addiction to the action experienced during the Cardassian Occupation. Forcing him to commit himself to increasing levels of danger that threaten the stability of DS9. Meanwhile, Quark attempts to perfect the right type of holosuite program meant to cater to the types of clientele that crave bigger and bolder action with every repeat visit.

"Zero-Sum": DS9 is to be the site of a prisoner exchange between the Federation and the Dominion. While certifying the prisoners' health, Bashir learns that the Dominion prisoners the Federation is giving up are impostor agents, not the real people - one of them tells him. She wants to back out, but before she can, she is killed and he is implicated in her death, necessitating a sham trial that he is supposed to be cleared in. He decides to plead guilty, but before he can do so, the real prisoner is released...through the cooperation of his friends, though he wants deniability.

Vagrancy

When a drought hits Bajor, several thousand Bajorans arrive on the station.
When not all of them have access to a room, some begin hanging out on the promenade.
Despite Odo’s efforts, the Bajorans do cause disturbences.
When some of them realize the depth of their situation, they storm Quarks in an effort to get some relief.
Quark has to try to fend them off with the help of a few of the local shopkeepers.

"A Good Man, Garak": DS9 is hosting an award ceremony at which Hurnevis "Nev" Dinawok, a revered non-Bajoran hero to the Resistance, is being presented with the highest civilian honor for service. Everybody on the station seems to look up to him...everyone except Garak, who despite never having met him before or heard anything particular about him, is of the opinion that the man is not the good man everyone thinks he is. Kira is bothered by his opinion enough to do some digging, but can't find anything...until somebody tries to silence her. Now it's up to Odo to help finish what she started, working together with Garak to expose the evil darkness that lies hidden below the surface.

“For the Flag”

When the Federation is asked to negotiate a peace treaty on DS9 between two species on the same planet they find that a treaty may be impossible.
However, when a strange man offers to mediate, questions are asked about his identity, and his motivations.

“Amat Victoria Curam”: Sisko butts heads with an admiral who wants to establish a munitions stockpile near/on the station, as he fears it poses too great a danger for those living there and places too much of a burden on his crew to guard against thieves and accidents. Meanwhile, Julian coaches some of Keiko's students for a science bee.

Last Resort

Quark has been suffering from depression following a visit from the Grand Nagus who accused him of being too soft on the Hew-mons and that his profits had been suffering as a result. Dr. Bashir tries all sorts of medications, therapy, and meditation, but nothing works. Nothing, that is, until he gets his hands on an extremely realistic simulation of that ultimate vacation spot, Risa. Quark spends a week on Risa in the holosuite to recover. Afterwards, it's one of his most profitable holosimulations.

"Home Run": A ship docks at DS9 that is carrying youth from Arcorli colony whose members have lived in space for generations to see Earth for the first time. Jake dates one of the passengers, Yumina, a girl who is resentful over having been chosen, thinking of herself not as a human but an Arcorlian. He hopes to show her the importance of her heritage, but winds up seeing her side of things, too. Meanwhile, while escorting an injured Bajoran crewmember home to recuperate from a long-term injury, Julian and Kira are invited by his parents to stay for a ritual meal of thankfulness (for reunions and healing)
