Suggest anthology themes

I hope it isn't too late to post here, but with all the new series that have started and finished, a new Strange New Worlds anthology (by another name, of course, so as not to be confused with the series) featuring stories with the new characters and settings.

We've got a whole lot more captains now, so it could be time for a new Captain's Table series or anthology.
I really miss the old themed anthologies, like Seven Deadly Sins, the Myriad Universes books, and Tales from the Dominion War and Captain's Table.

Just got another royalty check for TALES OF THE DOMINION WAR a week or so ago. It's the little anthology that keeps on selling.

It would be neat to get some stories about some of the characters we have from Picard who were active during the Dominion War. Though maybe it'd be less of a "Tales of the Dominion War sequel" and more "Picard character backgrounds" kind of thing.

Also, yeah, Shaxs would have had some tales to tell as well in there. Don't know about the rest of the Lower Decks characters, though, considering the total tonal clash.

I like the idea of the Lower Decks characters appearing in a dramatic context. I mean, if Captain Kirk can be in both "The City on the Edge of Forever" and "The Trouble with Tribbles," if Ben Sisko can be in both "In the Pale Moonlight" and "Take Me Out to the Holosuite," there's no reason Shaxs or Freeman or even Mariner couldn't work in serious stories. Heck, I think LD was better at telling straightforward Star Trek adventure and character stories than it was at being a comedy.

But for a new(?) idea, maybe an Anthology following different time displaced characters from over the various series adapting experiencing the 'present day'.

I like the idea of the Lower Decks characters appearing in a dramatic context. Shaxs is serving aboard the Theseus with Sisko, Crusher, Data, and Scotty in IDW's Star Trek comic. He's played serious there.

I'd like another story with Prime Lorca. Or even Mirror Lorca, though I think he was done dirty by DSC, especially considering how indulgent they are towards Mirror Georgiou.

I guess it'd have to be an anthology, the line would have to build up some tremendous inertia to get back to a point where (let's see, Georgiou, Lorca, Pike 2.0, Saru, Burnham (jeeze, that's a lot of captains for one show), Rios, Freeman, Chakotay, Dal, and Gwyn... even if they double-up like Kirk and Sulu did, that's still) six or seven novels on the same theme in a row is practical.

Earth, Unfederated — an anthology of stories about United Earth during the years between the Burn and Earth’s return to the Federation? (During which Earth itself, however isolated and paranoid, seems to have basically done fine.)

And separately, I’d enjoy an anthology about the Eternal Archive, my new favorite place in the ST universe.
