Flash in those days had the most eccentric pack of adversaries outside of Batman - and Flash's were more inventive.View attachment 43200
Always my first thought when I hear the term.
And don't forget the mandatory monthly Pledge of Allegiance to Matalas-Sama, our Lord and Savior. Amen.Unlike the "Tru-Fan"* club which has an entrance exam plus yearly dues.

Her on-set performance is very Vulcan... but badly - on the robotic side. The extensive re-recording of nearly her entire performance throughout the movie gives us the Saavik we have today which is oddly more emotional and fits with the half-Romulan she was written to be.I think part of the problem was that Alley wasn’t playing a full Vulcan. She was supposed to be half-Romulan, and I think Meyer directed her that way.
I just look at it as Brian Brophy aging about 25 years in physical appearance and growing a beard. Worked well enough for me.
Though Brian Brophy should have returned to reprise the role. As the old TBBS Brophy thread would probably put it: Brophy would have Brophied the role into legend.
I once had the two of them team up to fight Chuck Norris.Brian Brophy vs. Robau. Who wins?
It was a sequel/reinterpretation of this post I posted in the old Captain Robau thread back in the day in the Trek XI forum (now known as the Kelvin Universe forum).Chuck Norris stared off the cliff edge at sunset when he felt a presence behind him. "I always knew this day would come," he said. Norris then turned and saw Captain Robau standing there. "Indeed, he's been anticipating it for a while now," Robau responded. "He?" Chuck Norris asked, confused. Captain Robau then stepped aside revealing a shadowy figure behind him who then stepped forward revealing himself to be Brian Brophy. "Shit," Chuck Norris said, worriedly. After several tense moments of the two power figures staring at each other silently, ominously, Brian Brophy finally yawned and quite casually and tiredly said "boo." Chuck Norris immediately pissed his pants.
^^^...For all the talk of cults, the only one here seems to be dedicated to astroturfing opposition to continuing the NuTrek project that appealed to the broadest portion of the fanbase and even managed to break into mainstream attention...
The extra 10 episodes surely helps?^^^
What's Strange New Worlds got to do with Legacy
(SNW has been on Nielsen's streaming top 10 list more than Picard S3 FYI.)
We knew already, but it's sad to hear how much it upset him.

Garrett Wang was told he'd been cast on Star Trek: Picard
Star Trek: Picard ended without one sign of Harry Kim, even though there was a spot for him. According to an interview with Trekmovie, Garrett Wang said his manredshirtsalwaysdie.com
*CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR LOWER DECKS S5*
There was a whole comment thread about this a few months back over on Trekmovie. I gave it 15 minutes and couldn't find it again, but the gist of it was that when PS3 was airing, it was up against much more formidable competition than SNW S2. To even place in the Top 10 for streaming minutes those weeks, you'd have needed to get north of 400 million watch minutes. So if SNW had aired in Jan / Feb / March of 2023, even with the watch minutes it received in the summer, several of its episodes wouldn't have placed in the rankings.(SNW has been on Nielsen's streaming top 10 list more than Picard S3 FYI.)
Oh please. It's not like you have to choose one thing over the other. Streaming isn't Network television. People who want to watch something are going to watch it if it's available on streaming. There was a whole comment thread about this a few months back over on Trekmovie. But the thing is though, if you're Paramount, would you rather have a show that ranked #7 one week with 285 million watch minutes, or a show that didn't place in the top 10 that week but had say 390 million watch minutes?Oh please. So I'm guessing he isn't one with The Terry.
I'm disappointed.
I thought this would be the year he got his promotion.
