Somewhat concerning is the complete lack of mentioning Star Trek as a reason for finally turning a profit coupled with the cancellation of most of the newer series within the last year. Trek being one of the tent pole shows that launched P+ it is also one of the most expensive to produce.
After being in the camp of keeping it to try to help make it proftable, I think after Prodigy, Disco, LD,,and Ready Room all getting cancelled, I am ready to give Paramount+ a taste of their own medicine.It is strange that they don't want to continue The Ready Room, even in a truncated form, a few times a season. I'm sure Wil is not that expensive. He likes doing Trek stuff. I've a feeling P+ isn't going to be around in its present form much longer.

It was confirmed by one of the producers in the original Trekcore article... which seems to have been later edited to remove the comments.
