What happened to Star Trek Magazine

Just got the final digital supplement in my email, with THREE new stories, including mine.

Same here! For those wondering about the stories:
  • "My Name is Mudd", by Craig Shemin
  • "The Lost Noel", by @Greg Cox (this one caught me off guard a little, because in this post Greg called it "The Last Noel"), a TOS-era story
  • "Into the Cardassian Quagmire", by Adeena Mignogna, a Lost Era story. (On a side note, I really appreciate the name of the ship in this one!)
So I guess that's the last of the digital supplements we'll see. We just heard news today that the federal government was looking to order the striking Canada Post workers back to work, so I guess I'll see when (or if) the physical copies of issues 13 and 14 show up...

Oops. I screwed up the title of my own story!

Which, in my defense, I wrote some time ago.

So after all that, I'm not even sure if issue 14 is coming. Not to mention that I haven't received issue 13 yet, and a postal strike just started on Friday here, so it may be a long while before it arrives.

So just in case anyone was curious about the outcome of this, I thought I would share: the strike officially ended on December 17, and Canada Post has been slowly trying to work through the backlog that piled up during the strike. Well, today I received both the physical copies of issue 13 and issue 14. So all's well that ends well! :)

Of course, I also got a letter in the mail last week from Titan warning me that my subscription was about to expire, and letting me know that they were giving me a special offer if I wanted to renew for a year. What?! I assume this was sent in the early days of the strike in late November, but even then I thought they already knew the magazine was finished after issue 14.

Finally, finally received issue 13 in the post today (UK). Was starting to worry it wouldn't turn up! Just 14 to go now (received the digital supplement just before Christmas), so I expect I'll get that at some point in February. Real shame to see it coming to an end. Sign of the times I guess.

I've also been informed, via another another channel, that my final story for the magazine will be in the digital supplement for #14, with plans to reprint it in a future hardcover collection.

Any news on the next hardcover collection? I’m reading A Year to the Day I Saw Myself Die right now. (Even though I’ve got all the short stories in my digital copies of the magazine, I still hadn’t actually read any of them until just now with this fourth collection, checked out from the public library.)

I still haven't received my copy of the final issue, nor the special foil one that I ordered. radio silence when I emailed them about it to, other than to tell me that it was the american wing of the company that should handle it.

I'm expecting that I'll never see those items :(

Same thing has happened to me. I don’t expect to ever receive my author's copy of Issue #14.

It is sad that FANGORIA outlasted STARLOG—in the past you would see two-in-one novels with each cover of a different story.

That might have kept Starlog going.

Titan has Star Wars magazine, right?

I think STARLOG lasted as long as it did because they were owned by individuals who put out wrestling magazines. OMNI came from PENTHOUSE—but FANGORIA is still chugging last I checked.

my foil order just came in today, only a few months late. I'm assuming the american branch of titan got the forwarded email, forgot to reply to me at all, but still shipped it.
