The D-Con Chamber podcast with Dominic & Connor

Also nonviable. I am really moving around with podcasts, I can't stay near a computer, and even if I felt like lugging a laptop around I'm not staying within a wifi network.

If anyone can tell me how to get an iPhone to continue playing YouTube audio while the phone screen is dark, then that would make it viable.

General question: is this podcast also coming to an end? I saw the Bakula interview referenced upthread as a final episode. Is that final of the season, or final ever, or unclear?
So I am a bit old fashioned, I still use an MP3 player ;)
I download the youtube video, change it into an MP3 file and then play it from the player. Surely that must work with a phone too?

I understand where you are coming from, I am also watching the Deltaflyers where Robbie and Garrett are talking via video screen, and it can be boring watching them just sitting there. Once I upgraded to Patreon I was able to download proper MP3 files and so you can listen to it when doing your daily walks or household work.

But as a Scott fan, I loved watching him, it never gets boring. It was like having him sit in my living room, and talking to me personally.

As to your question, as far as I understand it is the end of the season. The Shuttlepodshow also had seasons, with them doing a break in between.

Yes they're doing conventions right now. They wanted to interview people for their podcast while they were at the conventions anyway they mentioned in the Scott Bakula interview.

I listened tot he D-con chamber interview Peyton List who played a Romulan agent in Picard season 1 it was really interesting about hearing her talking about her fight scenes she did with the dangerous stunts with Jeri Ryan on the Borg cube and how difficult it was filming in the narrow set and the stunt people doing the wire work and how dangerous the fight scene was. She was also talking about learning the Romulan Language and how hard it was to speak it correctly and filming the scenes without making mistakes.
I absolutely adore her from the short lived "Frequency" TV series

I have Premium and it's great for that. At work I drive a forklift so I only listen to stuff, so at home I might throw a whole bunch of short clips into one playlist, and then I find videos that are like 25-30mins or more to listen to, like Larry King, Rich Eisen, Dan Patrick, Talkville, Light the Fuse podcast, BUILD series, Possible History etc. There's the Foundation Emmy TV legends interviews that are fascinating insight. There's heaps of commentaries, like I found the First Contact one with Moore and Braga or Armageddon one with Affleck. I got Premium back when it was called Red, for Cobra Kai and Impulse originally. But then I used Youtube Music exclusively when driving so it's a big part of my life now.

Finally had time to sit down and watch the Scott Bakula episode. He’s lived quite the life and is such a pleasure to listen to tell stories. He’s full of natural charm and charisma and the passion for his craft throughout the decades is very apparent. But also the dedication to just spend a good time with good people while following his acting passion. I hope I’ll be even half this serene and contented once I hit my seventies, haha.

Stupendous episode to open their second season. I could listen to Nana talk on the subject of women in Trek and in the film industry all day.
It was great having an episode of a broader scope. Nana has obviously talked to a lot of people for her book, but also Connor and Dominic have a lot of experience putting on the podcast. It was a very thoughtful discussion from all involved.

I've noticed the clips from the show on social seem to demonstrate that Dominic isn't butting in as much as he did in previous seasons... Might that be the case? I stopped watching because of that...

Yes that's the case he behaves much better than he used to and doesn't interrupt the guest like he used to do in the previous Shuttlepod show. This Sunday the guest on the D-con chamber will be Michael Westmore discussing a book he wrote for his upcoming interview.

New episode is out with Nana talking about her book.
Fantastic episode. Crazy the things she went through, going into labor on set and having contractions between scenes and not telling anyone because she was worried for her job. That's what I love about the podcast. You love the characters these actors play but when you get to know about their real life you love them even more as people.

Michael Dorn and Michelle Hurd both appeared on the D-CON show . Michelle came back from Montana from filming a Western. This is the third time Michelle has been on their show.
Another great interview. Great pairing. A bit of a glimpse into Picard Season 3. The TNG ensemble was something Stewart was against and not exactly happy about.

This week Scott Mantz is the guest on the D-con chamber. I have seen him on Youtube videos as being a big star trek fan.I haven't had time to watch the full interview yet.

I can only take Scott Mantz in small doses. Not sure if I could survive listening to him for more than an hour.
