I have a soft spot for squirrels. When I first started feeding them, I was looking up a bunch of stuff about them and their diets' did not even know these long eared red squirrels existed. I did not know there were black ones too.
Talk about eating on the fly.....
Black ones are not common, but also not rare like albinos. There are several black squirrels on my apartment complex property.
