StarShip Creator 3...OMG!!!!

^^^^^^^^^^^

Must admit that I didn't beleive this was true read about it on the official newsite! I so can't beleive they're going to make this game again!!! Arrrgghghghghgh!

The only problem with the first two.

No joystick for rapid fire, wrist snapping ship blasting.

And of course, writing the missions and creating the crew profiles..

And then there was too much actual thinking and imagination involved.

:wtf:

As you can see in my video above we fixed that.

Also if you press ctrl-shift-enter (or cmd-backslash-5 on Mac) and type in WTFBBQ it enables autofire and unlimited ammo. All you have to do is navigate the ship.

This is the one trek game I always wanted to try as it seems like fun. This new version looks hella cool.

OK I'm confused, is this a joke or is this for real becuase I can't seem to find anything about the game and the two videos don't to seem to be related to what I know about the game, especially the first video which about 5 minutes of watching paint dry and the second is one those CG created space battles with Starfleet vs Babylon 5?

Sorry if I've blown it for anyone but unless there's a proper link to the game then I can't see how it's for real.

It's an April Fools joke. Starship Creator ranks right up there with Battlefield Earth, Gigli, and the Nixon Administration as things no one wants a sequel to.

Thought so, thanks for the clear up. April fools can really screw you up sometimes, especially over time zones when a joke/prank is made at the appropriate time in one zone but wouldn't yet work in another zone becuase of the time difference.

Yeah those Scottish time zones are real killers....:guffaw::guffaw:;)

Doh! Didn't realise you were in Scotland as well. I'm really having a slow week, not catching on anything at all. Think I need a really long holiday to catch up.

Like in my first reply.

I had fun with it.

It was more of a "game" directed at computer programmers, than space battle blow 'em up fans

The concept wasn't a bad idea, it was just never presented to the public very well, or properly for that mater.

Then Paramount put it's evil fist of control over what could or couldn't be included and Simon and Schuster, as always, said "Yes Sir".

Overall, while it had it's moments, it belongs in the category of "Should have never been released"

It is stated in the Star Wreck In The Pirkining movie that the shields are totally inoperative in that universe.

Other than that it's a great bit of FX work for a fan production. :p
