News Alec Baldwin Accidentally Shoots & Kills Cinematographer, Wounds Director with Prop Gun

Hexum: October 18, 1984
Lee: March 31, 1993
Hutchins: October 21, 2021

A little less than nine years between the first two and then about eighteen years for the most recent.
Twenty-eight. As you’d written the word, rather than typed the number, I’m guessing that, like for me, for you, 1993 really doesn’t seem over 30 years ago!

the jury selection closed today, I wonder if this is the very first case in USA that the key and only evidence that matter, destroyed by the FBI, can still be used against a defendant, isn't that call destroying the evidence? this is unheard of from reading USA news since I have high speed internet

as per this lawyer on his Crime Talk chnl.,the prosecutor themselves need lawyer very soon, as they will charge of suppressing evidence. Suppressing evidence of exculpatory information nature is high crime. In the next many mth. to year, you'll see all those prosecutors and law enforcement people all go to trial and in prison

What i don't get yet is if that was just an error on the prosecution part or intentional.

if it's the latter why? Do they have a personal interest to see Baldwin behind bars?

I personally usually tend to favour cockup over conspiracy as explanation for things going wrong or being wrongly done. But I certainly wouldn’t rule out a zealous prosecutor (or cops) doing their utmost to get the scalp of a big movie star, even if it involves breaking rules.

The Deadline article certainly tries to suggest that one of the prosecutors hated Baldwin.

what's the deal w/ Seth Kenney? why is that act so fishy? I mean, after the armor went to prison, this guy suddenly shows up, and drop off some boxes of bullet at the police station? what's his gain on this?

update: they are going to set her free as well, probably sometime next week at the earliest

Well its not guaranteed yet but it seems likely, which sucks because the armorer is definitely guilty. The incompetent prosecutor (seemingly) wanting to "stick it" to a celebrity means that the woman who deserves to serve time for the death of a woman might get off with barely any punishment.

I really hope this at least means the end of the armorers career, I can't imagine even the smaller/shadier film productions are going to want to hire her, even if she gets let off on basically a technicality.

but looking back at the whole incident, there were good reason that using the old case law of Brandon Lee, that those 2 FBI agent didn't press charge on anyone. As it's a set, too many people can temper w/ the bullets, I watch the trial of those live round vs. dummy round, how do we know that Starlight didn't ship some live round by mistake?

As Seth Kenney action seems a lot like a cover up to me, why would he all of a sudden spent time to drive to a police station and drop off some boxes of bullets, you people don't feel that as suspicious ? When Gutierrez lawyer said it, noone cares about it. But when Baldwin's lawyer said the same thing, the case get dismissed. Look at this link, Gutierrez has been saying it all along:
