Just finished a re-read of Clavell's Shogun, currently re-reading Tai-Pan with a non-fiction book called Wired for War on deck.
I think these books are among the better "Sherlock Holmes"-based pastiches.Reading Mycroft Holmes by Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar (yes, that one!) and Anna Waterhouse (likely ghostwriter) and it's surprisingly good and I see there are two more of them that follow.

I still need to get High Republic Temptation of the Force along with either the Living Force hardcover or Brotherhood for paperback. But at the same time I really need to get back into reading Parts II and III of the Dark Nest Trilogy and Legacy of the Force and Fate of the Jedi books that are my main priorityStar Wars the high Republic: The eye of Darkness. The writers of these series really like to kill the Jedi alot and in a horrible ways
