It's always difficult to judge these things, but based on ability I'd have to find a place for Diego Maradona.
Maradona was almost retired when I started watching football. I'm talking about an XI of your era of watching football.
I'm old enough to remember him in his prime, was amazing to watch when he used his feet not his hands of course

Thank goodness for that! I was away so couldn't even watch the game on Sky so was constantly just checking my phone. The scenes at Pride Park looked increidble!
It certainly was. Didn't go on the pitch but it was awesome.
Nice to see Liverpool getting their mojo back.

England going into there week of warm up games before the Euro's and 3 of our 4 first choice defenders are injured.
Stones/Maguire/Shaw.
Stones is only a precaution but Maguire seems to be 50/50 for the Euros and Shaw is unlikely to go.
I can't tell you how much we will miss Shaw who is a different player for England than at club level. Roams down flank and put in wonderful crosses.
No Maguire means no experienced international partner for Stones.
