Spoilers Bad Batch Season 3 - February 21st

 So someone finally said midichlorians on screen under the new regime... it only took ten years.
But wasn't it less than six months ago that we were led to believe they don't even matter?
Which way western man?

(And why didn't Ventress have a blood testing device?)

Who said that? :vulcan:

hmm.. could Omega turn out be Shin Hati from Ashoka. Both have blonde hair. Only thing is there is roughly 22-23 years (or so) between the Bad Batch and Ashoka. Omega is how old? 12 maybe? that would make her in her early 30's In Ashoka. Shin looks like she is 25 or so.

More than that. ( also it's Ahsoka, not Ashoka )

There are 23 years between ROTS and ROTJ. It is not entirely clear how long Ahsoka takes place after ROTJ, but if we were to assume for the sake of argument that it is seven years after ROTJ, there would be 30 years between ROTS and Ahsoka. Even if we assume that Ahsoka takes place the bare minimum of 5 years after ROTJ, there would be 28 years between ROTS and Ahsoka. Bad Batch's current season seems to be 12-18 months(?) after ROTS.

Binge watched the first 9 episodes. Season 3 is a real step up. It's some of the best Star Wars since Andor. I'm glad they did away with the more kid friendly and stand alone episodes from previous seasons. Can't believe there are only 6 episodes left. The story feels too large to wrap up in that amount of time.

Plus there's the prevailing theory that Keisha Castle-Hughes' casting as Emerie suggests that she'll play Omega in the live-action, post-RotJ era.

I'd admit I very much want characters like Omega to not be stuck in their own animated show, and would very much love to see her pop up in some post-ROTJ live action show – even as a character not immediately revealed as her as to not spoil her fate. But not only does she not have anything in common with Shin Hati beyond the blond hair, whatever her future is, I don't think she'll be someone who is still figuring the first steps of her journey at this point.

I suspect if we see live action Omega she's going to be just plain Omega, doing whatever it is that adult Omega does. Rather than hiding her behind another character to obfuscate things. And certainly not as a villain.

That said, if we are going to turn Omega into another character, I have a far better option I'd like to see them use. Have her change her name (perhaps to hide from the Empire) and become an EU character.

Specifically, Winter. Leia's long time friend, companion, and secret agent.

Still don't think that's what they'd do with the character, however. But, barring some kind of tragic ending to TBB, I DO expect to see Omega again somewhere, and probably sooner rather than later.
