Spoilers Resident Alien (2020 SyFy)

I wondered if Heather's wings were possibly just an evolutionary holdover and didn't have the strength to lift her in flight. Boy, was I ever wrong! Strong enough to left not only herself but also Harry in what what possibly ended after the fade-out as a literal flying f*ck! :guffaw:

I saw an interview with Sheridan the other day about the choice to play Heather, and she had done a lot of improv with Tyduk in the past, so they already had great chemistry. I'm happy to see she will be sticking around for a while.

I really like the introduction of Heather, and it looks like her and Harry's relationship is going to be a lot of fun.

This series can border on absurdity sometimes. I wasn’t really a fan of the lovey dovey stuff but I did like the Darcy and Asta plotline. Hopefully we get more of Liv’s story next week.

Is Peter alive or is the general using his corpse?

Using his corpse.

OK, thanks. It was a little hard to tell.
It is established in a very brief throwaway line that's very easy to miss.
The line comes when Lieutenant Logan is hooking up the Cybernetic Control Display. "Here we go. Sorry, I know you can't hear me because your brain doesn't work."

Harry and Heather's relationship went a bit overboard this week, but in a funny way. Definitely curious where her encounter with Joe at the end will lead.
I find it a little ironic D'Arcy told Ben about how he was abducted by the Greys, but he had no idea, while at the same Kate is starting to suspect that she was abducted. If Ben was abducted as a kid, does that mean that Kate was only abducted before she's his wife?
I had assumed the suit was going to be bringing Peter back to life as a cyborg, but now it's looking like they're using it to control his dead body.
This show has changed a lot since it started, at first only the stuff directly involving Harry had any kind of sci-fi elements to it, but now we've gotten to a point where every storyline is full on sci-fi.

If Ben was abducted as a kid, does that mean that Kate was only abducted before she's his wife?
No. Kate was abducted while pregnant recently and they took the baby.

OH! I just realized this might be how they make hybrids: they've been abducting Ben over the years, maybe tweaking his DNA so that his baby with Kate is a hybrid. Does that make sense or am I off base?

Oops, I changed thought mid post, that was supposed to be because not before.
I was thinking along the same lines, that Ben's abduction was all part of setting up the creation of a hybrid.
I was starting to wonder if maybe it'll turn out Joe is their son who went through accelerated aging, but I then I remembered that in one of the flashbacks, Kate called the baby a she.

I'm wondering if the reason the Mayor's son can see aliens is because the Greys were messing with Mayor and his wife's DNA to experiment on creating hybrids and that is what produced the mutation that allows their son to see the Alien's true form. It could have been a side effect of the experiment (an accident) and not the intended result.

I like that idea.
