What are you doing at this moment?

Steve Smith just turned 78. Man, time flies...dude was only like 41 when the show started!

Other fun facts:

- The scenes about Harold's office job were filmed in the real life offices of the Hamilton Spectator (newspaper)

- Peter Keleghan (Ranger Gord) is the real-life son-in-law of Gordon Pinsent (Hap Shaughnessy)

- Steve Smith's Red Green voice isn't his real voice. iRL it's higher pitched and not gravelly

First Costco since buying my house and bulk alcohol shopping. Expensive day. But Costco and SAQ are dead because no one has money/is shopping/needs more booze after the holidays. Best time of year to do the shopping.

Still, my bank account weeps.

Tuned into Numb3rs reruns on TV while I'm on the computer. There's an episode involving an autistic man with Savant Syndrome, and he's basically a carbon copy of Rain Man. Maybe because back then Rain Man was the only idea people had about what autism was?

I'm battening down the hatches. Took down birdfeeders, moved outside furniture against the house, moved planters close to the house, etc. Tomorrow winds are forecast to 60 mph and there will also be rain. Sort of like a sneak mini hurricane.

That’s so scary. I hope it’s uneventful.

I’m scrolling DIY home videos that have me all fired up to redecorate EVERYTHING. SMH, I’m just over the covid and have no energy to wash my hair, much less remodel the whole house lol

You have no idea how angry that movie makes me in regards to the representation of autism, or rather misrepresentation

Looking at google maps at a town where I use to live to work out where there was an incident today. Last time I was there was over 30 years ago. Was trying to work out what streets it happened on.
