Feel bad for all those folks who were already fitting him for a gold jacket.
Probably to keep his options open, at this point. If he sees someone that he thinks can run their offense in the draft or free agency, then he can cut bait. If not, then they pay the bonus and keep Wilson.
As mediocre as the Seahawks have played these last few weeks, I can't help but laugh at the financial situation the Broncos have gotten themselves into when they signed Wilson to that contract without letting his previous contract play out.

Lions OL catches two-point play at the end of the game to take a one-point lead..... only he didn't report in as being eligible. Lions go for two again and don't get it but the Cowboys were offsides. Lions go for two for the third time, but Goff's pass is bad and incomplete (if it was a good pass, the WR probably catches it and scores). Cowboys win.
That ending was bullshit. Hard to believe that the two OL who were supposed to report in remembered to do so, and on the drive down the field there was one of the most obvious missed pass interference calls all season.
Jerry sure got the happy ending he wanted, would have been embarrassing to lose on the night he finally gave Jimmy Johnson the respect he was owed.

This is sounding more like the refs screwed up, not the Lions. Taylor Decker (the OL in question) says he went up to the official and checked in, but the official somehow missed it.
ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky even has a pretty damning video that supports Decker's claim, it even shows at the end the ref running up to the Cowboys and seemingly informing them that someone has checked in as an eligible receiver: https://twitter.com/danorlovsky7/status/1741314282631975170

Goff also confirms after the the game that Decker checked in, and there's footage of Goff sending him over to the ref to do just that.
If there's ever a case for a call reversal because that literally decided the game and was entirely on the refs (there would have been absolutely no further possible outcome without that blown call), this is it. Lions won that game.
Is it possible that the Lions bungled this situation? I got to see a wide angle shot where 58 and 68 are standing in front of the official. At the bottom we see 70 coming in, not running at the huddle but at the official and the official says 70 is the one that declared as eligible. Can you have more than one ineligible player report as eligible? Or is it the last player that reports is the eligible one?

Plenty of sloppy, uninspired play out of Tampa Bay's offence. The D line is only slightly better. You'd never know they would lock up the NFC South title with a win.
