The Kelvin Timeline Starship Thread

I'm curious as to what the other Enterprises might look like in the Kelvinverse (the NX-01, the NCC-1701-D, etc.)
Here's the Kelvinverse NX-01.

i noticed the new enterprise from Star Trek Beyond has different impulse engines, why would they change it considering what just happened to the last enterprise?

this is apparently the new enterprise in the alternate reality

Hypothetically (and in-universe) maybe the impulse drive got shorter in width (with the Beyond Ent-A), but more powerful in thrust - e.g. new engineering advancements?

Another possibly: the Ent-A was made up of other fed ships at Yorktown that ‘lent’ their parts to the new Enterprise - ie: cannibalised - which may have included a starship with a smaller impulse drive (matching closer to the original 09 Enteprise Impulse drive width).

Either way, it doesn’t bother me, as I like the variety between the Kelvin Enterprise, Bey Refit, and Ent-A.

YMMV…

I'd love to see a de-eviled, Starfleetizied Dreadnought class as Enterprise-B.
I picked up an extra Hot Wheels Vengeance back in the day to paint white and make into something like this, but never got around to it.

I suppose there was also a Gameprint option to do similar, but I never took advantage of it when it was possible.

I got one at home, will take a photo later.

The fact that a model was seen on display in Adm. Marcus' office well in advance of the first appearance of the Vengeance says that the platform for such a ship already existed -- on paper, at the very least. (I'd find it difficult to believe, though, that only one ship of that class had ever been built, not to mention built in such secrecy that Starfleet was completely unaware of its existence. Even the Skunk Works was never that sneaky.)

Of course you do, lol. :D

What’s funny is I printed out one of the ships you uploaded.
Whoa, that’s amazing! May I ask which one you assigned to your command, Admiral?

5-inch Dreadnought-class USS Olympia NCC-1900. I thought, what if Starfleet built one but replaced all the super weapons with advanced computers and science labs, make it a large mobile laboratory?

Plus, that comic Archon could have been refit from the original NX design with newer nacelles, or have simply been based on a similar saucer+nacelles layout.

I had your "close enough" USS Protostar printed, it was in the last batch I had done before they stopped custom ships, so hasn't arrived yet. That's the only one I know for sure, it's entirely possible I printed another of your uploads along the way, as I only realized the name connection with the Protostar, lol.

Your Olympia looks really good, guess I'll have to start on my repaint at some point.
