All Star Batman makes a lot of sense if you look at it from a different perspective

It's not a true in-universe account but simply the imagination of a version of the Joker that knows that Batman is Bruce Wayne and about Dick Grayson being Robin as well as a lot of the other secrets of the DC Universe.

A clue for this is that this version of Batman is a almost perfect replica of what the Joker wants Batman to be like, in many versions, and it makes sense that he sees the other superheroes as dicks too.

The only part that is potentially but not necessarily real is the appearance of the Joker himself. Think a Joker sitting in Arkham would imagine such things for fun to pass the time, when he's extremely bored. And he seemed to be extremely bored and miserable in the comic, when he appeared...

That's a lot of mental effort in an attempt to justify Frank Miller having gone completely bonkers.

It's simply fun for me, finding new perspectives and making up in-universe theories that could potentially make at least some sense for such things.

Don't know if it's true, because it was the last Miller comic I read, but is it true that Frank recovered and made good comics again, during the last few years?

No not in the slightest.
Sad to hear. Read recently an interview with him, talking about his getting away from drugs and recovering from alcoholism. He also distanced himself from his bad work and the right wing stuff he is known for during the last two decades.

Speaking as a conservative (and arguably, therefore, the target audience for his right wing stuff), it wasn't bad simply because it was right wing. It was just bad. Glad to hear he's recovering from drugs/alcohol, however.

I mean, isn't that what fans do?

Though that comic was thoroughly unpleasant so may not be worth the energy but I've seen worse when it comes to fan theories.

I've not read ASBAR in years, and I'm not pulling it off the shelf today. That said, I think it's supposed to be a satirical, over-the-top comedy, except Jim Lee wasn't in on the joke.

I also think DKSA makes the most sense as a satire of the early GWB years. Ari Fleischer's "The president doesn't have dick to say to you media pansies" in the third issue is one of the truest pieces of criticism of the Bush regime I've read.
