We've allowed a bit of wiggle room to allow the Control ending for Disco S2, but otherwise we're trying to keep within 2023.

The joke of the category is that we had 4 finales in a row featuring a Rogue AI trying to be a menace, if we went logically down the whole gamut we'd never finish the night!! Though I do like the idea!

I personally left out "just Borg" finales. They are a collective made up of organic minds and technology, rather than strictly artificial intelligence.

I guess so, though we never really knew the nature of the Hive Mind. Was it started by an AI that assimilated the race that created it and went from there...?

If Star Trek hadn't completely overused the Borg recently I would absolutely advocate for some way of tying in the long theory of V'Ger and Borg having a mutual impactful relationship on their encounter. With V'Ger influencing the Borg to seek perfection, and the Pre-Borg giving V'Ger a purpose. I don't think we can have anymore Borg stories for a long time now though.
