Of course.Seriously. One VFX shot in a One hour episode sparking a need to get a replacement disc? Bonkers.
VFX must be perfect, crisp ultra reap, because 4k isn't good enough! I need 24k!
*tongue planted firmly in cheek.

I have not rewatched it yet. ...But for the most part, I agree with you. It's a pretty big step up from season two but then again what isn't?Have any of you watched it again in the cold light of day? It's a terribly written show.
Maybe Season 1, but Season 2 is better than 3 by far.Yeah. There are a lot of inconsistencies and the story doesn’t make much sense but it’s still fun to watch. Still better than the first two seasons by far.
Jack Crusher is his name, and yes his plot was very strange and drawn out.The funny thing is those box covers don't even feature Picard's son (whatever the hell his name was) - the main storyline of the entire season!! Season 3 had such potential with all the original characters, and it was actually ok. But the really dumb father/son filler trash was idiotic. We've seen that boring stuff 50,000 times before on every TV show ever made, why do it again in such a long, drawn-out fashion no less... You have an empty canvas on which to play with a legendary sci-fi story and you choose that??
Well, no.The other big problem was the lighting. EVERY scene, every setting - dark and subdued. These producers are really bad amateurs. They don't know what the hell they're doing and are apparently so simplistic they think dark/moody = dramatic, so therefore...make it ALL DRAMATIC! We're super-smart that way!

No, not really.
They made an artistic decision and you didn’t like it. That’s all.
Obviously, you've either never seen the TNG Movies or don't remember them well. "The Enterprise-E wasn't that dark!," you might say. To that I'd say yes it was.Yeah because it makes no sense. It would be like using high volume levels throughout a show because loud = action. It's about dynamic range. Dark is dramatic only if there's something to compare it to - otherwise it's ineffective and depressing. Only terrible producers wouldn't understand this.
As I believe I said above, simply not true. Nor did I even hate it, it was overall entertaining and far better than the trash of season 1 & 2. I just pointed out the really stupid, boring and cringeworthy aspects. Criticism is ok, you know![...] You went into it hating it before they shot a single frame. You prejudged the entire thing.
Okay, cool.As I believe I said above, simply not true. Nor did I even hate it, it was overall entertaining and far better than the trash of season 1 & 2. I just pointed out the really stupid, boring and cringeworthy aspects. Criticism is ok, you know!![]()
Dunno if this has been mentioned before (probably!) but I only just noticed thatin the second-last close-up of Q in the finale, de Lancie has a bug crawling on his forehead.
