Glad the wishes of the few don't take away from the enjoyment of the majority.

Not watching is the nicer alternative to actively wanting others to be denied the entertainment that hurts nobody from existing.

I'm not saying she should. I'm saying her showing up detracts from my entertainment. It goes both ways.

Also don't assume you're the majority

This is one of my pet peeves right there. Many classic protagonists are unlikable to downright evil. Frankenstein, Macbeth, Duddy Kravitz, Archie Bunker, Michael Corleone, Don Draper, Tony Soprano. Avoiding characters with protagonists you don't like embodies a lot of material. And Walter White was a monster long before we join him in the first episode as we see in flashbacks later on--the point of the series was to lure the viewer in to thinking he was meek and mild as we learn that he is really quite evil--which make the payoff in the finale all the more satisfying.
If it stops appealing as a show or story then I stop watching.

I enjoy Macbeth. I don't enjoy Breaking Bad, or the Sorpranos, and other such characters.

This will not change just because it avoids a lot of material. I am not on this Earth to be entertained.

Welcome to fan opinions were the mere existence is tantamount to...something bad.

It's late. I ran out of analogies.

I've been enjoying Loki's second season so far, but I have to admit, Loki is not the first thing that comes to mind when I think of the show I'd look to for creative team members for a Daredevil show.

Directors are capable of working in more than one style. Steven Spielberg directed both 1941 and Schindler's List, both E.T. and Amistad. The Russo Brothers directed TV sitcoms before doing blockbuster Marvel action movies, and Iron Man/The Mandalorian's Jon Favreau started in comedy too.

So the question is not what the show is like or what it's about; the question is how well it's directed. And I'd say these directors have done excellent work on Loki. I was particularly impressed by their handling of the shocking prison-cell scene in this week's episode, keeping the violence offscreen and focusing on the watchers' reactions, which was far more potent.

Yeah, still boggles my mind where the Russo's came from. Though it shouldn't.

It's so awesome that people in charge can see the potential when looking at these things.

What else could they do? Showing Kate Dickie et al squished into bloody hamburger meat wouldn't exactly have been on-brand...

Audiences just look at the result. Creators look at how it was made. Also, they have contacts in the industry, so they can hear about how good or bad a job someone did behind the scenes, whether they were good to work with, whether they delivered consistent results on schedule and budget, etc. The factors that shape those decisions are largely unseen by the audience, which is why they often seem strange to us.

My bad, I left out the crucial word "here", as the majority here, looking at literally every response, doesn't share your hatred of Yelena.

I'll choose my words more carefully

I don't hate the character. I'm just saying I dislike her and her appearance in future projects probably won't change that. I'd rather have a different Thunderbolts casr
