Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

Well, one way or another today should be the last drop I am an active participant in. After that it should be just as a spectator unless they send out a really great monthly offer.

I have been scanning whats available and I just don’t see a 2nd ship I really want in order to take advantage of the September coupon.

I'm after assimilated Voyager today, figured I'd get Pathfinder to utilize the coupon. I'll probably snag that mug, too, since I'm a sucker for goofy swag like that.

There are a few more Special issues on my list, like the Conestoga, Kazon Predator and D5 Tanker, but none of them are really must haves. I think the last has come and gone, but I think the other two may eventually materialize, probably as part of a flash drop where I'll have to unfortunately be on my toes. I'll also get Dresselhaus if that actually sees the light of day.

I got the two I was after.

They forgot to list the mug, hopefully there’ll be one next time I make an order.

I got the Pathfinder on an earlier drop, and while by and large I'm not a particular fan of Star Trek Online's ship aesthetic I have to say I was quite impressed with the model.

There's nothing else on my "must-have" list after today either. Maybe the smaller Cerritos model if it ever becomes available again, but I'm not holding my breath there. There's some "like-to-have"s but that's it.

I have Chimera and Avenger, they're both pretty nice.

I guess I should have picked up Gagarin and Edison along the way since they're also in Picard, but that didn't occur to me until now, lol. I checked and Edison is still on MR, maybe I'll snag it down the road.

Forgot to mention that a package arrived last week. I got the T'Plana-Hath, the Voyager Aeroshuttle, and the Eymorg ship.

-Not much to say about the Eymorg ship, except that it reminds me a lot of the Kaylon ships from "The Orville".

-The aeroshuttle is a really cool design. Far better than the Captain's yacht from the Enterprise-D, which I thought was too "flying saucer"-looking. I wish we'd seen this one on the show, but then we probably would not have gotten the Delta Flyer.

-I like the Vulcan ship. Pretty consistent with what we later got on "Enterprise". I found myself playing the end music from the movie and "landing" it a couple of times. ;) Also, it's one of the few VTOL spacecraft in Trek. I think I read somewhere that this was actually a landing craft with a larger mother ship in orbit. Can anyone confirm this?

Edited to add: I think I'll hold off for now, unless a D5 tanker or Orville becomes available. Most pre-Disc stuff I already have, anyway.

Sorry I'm late to the party--the link on the first page of this thread is dead. Don't suppose there's another...?
The link is dead because the company went out of business last year. This thread is still alive because 1) another company has purchased the remaining stock and has been selling it, and 2) it's become kind of a catch all thread for small starship toy/model discussions.

Gotcha. Sucks that the company went out of business. I love me some good schemata porn. lmao Haynes' Millennium Falcon Owner's Workshop Manual being one such example.
