With only one episode left to release in season 2, I have to say, I really enjoy this show. Doing long form crime mystery is a touch & go prospect, & I feel the 30 minute format & the comedic charm really helps this one along. It's good for it to not take itself too seriously. Got some fun guest appearances too. I mean how do you bag an 88 year old Shirley Maclaine? Stuff like that keeps it interesting & Keeps things upbeat.

Me, too! I really enjoy it--far more than I thought I would. It's clever, sweet, funny and every now and then, a tad profound in how it finds the pain in all of their lives--even the secondary characters. I look forward to those small moments.

Yeah, it fleshes out the supporting players/neighbors really well, & in very short order, through just snippets really. During the blackout the bloody cat guy found love, & it worked for the episode in a big way, & then this week he's just in one gag riding the elevator. That blackout episode did a lot for those bit players, while still being an interesting part of the ongoing narrative

I am nor a fan off murder mysteries, generally speaking, generally speaking, but I decided to check the show out because it starred
MartIn Short and Steve Martin, wHp I think are two of the best comedic actors of their generation, and got totally hooked. Selena Gomez is hanging right with them.

Seventeen Emmy noms is no joke. Hope there’s a third season.

I'd rank it as the best new-ish streaming series out there. It's certainly the best thing Hulu has got.

This is such a fun show, and the comedic parts really click. The bit of physical comedy that Steve Martin did at the end of season 1 was absolutely brilliant, especially considering that he was around 74 when he filmed it.
I'm not a fan of Amy Schumer's character this season, but at least it's a small role.

I mean Schumer was only in like 1 scene, right? Am I remembering that correctly? So it's more like a cameo, like Sting was

Whereas they've really made something of Tina Fey's character, & Shirley Maclaine was an absolute jewel to find

I think Schumer was in two scenes; one in the elevator and one in her apartment, but she was waaaay to manic for me in the apartment scene. Already not a fan of hers, and she didn't help my impression any.

^You know... I keep seeing a snippet of Schumer in ads for the show on Hulu too, where she's making an ass of herself mimicking playing a bassoon, as an obvious dig at Jan from last season. Can't say I was all that fond of that gag either really, & I keep dreading when it'll finally show up in the show

Finale was very entertaining and funny, but they went through the explanation of the killer's actions so fast that I'm not sure it all holds up. Felt like it could have been tighter. We got pretty far away from Bunny by the end and it was kind of a shame as they did such a good job with her character in the flashbacks this season. But it was good! I laughed at the things!

I'm guessing the huge guest star from the end sequence will appear a lot more in flashbacks too next season.

I think the finale worked OK. It was a bit silly, but that's kind of their brand. It is after all a show focusing on an actor, an artist & a theater director doing a frankly ridiculous podcast. It holds up that it would get a silly finale

I'm guessing the huge guest star from the end sequence will appear a lot more in flashbacks too next season.

Probably not all that dissimilarly from what Bunny got this season, only...

One wonders how they'll try to sell this one, given that so far as we now know, this one is not in line with the brand of having been "in the building" lol

I hope we haven't jumped the shark already.

No spoilers, just an observation. The resolution of Bunny's final words and what they meant is a step-by-step replay (or homage, if you will) of a sketch SNL did regarding the final words of Charles Foster Kane. The context of both is identical.

But was it IN the building? LOL It did seem to be a situation where it could have been done to him earlier, at his home, & as you say, his home could be the Arconia. Now THAT would be keeping with the title

Anyway you cut it, it's sure to be fun

Slow-acting poison. The actor could have been in the Arconia for any number of reasons when he got dosed, but I'll bet it has something to do with Charles' warning "Stay away from her."

I felt the same way about the motive but, man, it was great seeing Martin and Short doing physical comedy again. Laughed like it was 1980
