I'm glad. My thoughts are with you and your sister.Me too. My sister just started chemo yesterday and I needed this to take my mind off worrying about her for just a little while.
Yes. I was thrilled with how gorgeous she looks in animation.I love the Enterprise in both animated and live action. She is a beautiful ship.
I *might* put Charades as funnier on a purely "laughs per minute" basis. But this was brilliant. This was the funniest episode of Star Trek ever.
Yes! I really loved that. And Boimler's comments to Pike about celebrating his birthday hit me right in the feels.the setbacks and the slower pace/different tone of SNW brought out a different side of the character. We saw a level of pathos that LD hasn't allowed to come out, as Boimler's embarrassment and frustration grew over the course of the episode.
THANK YOU! It's a terrific quote. I'm glad to know where it comes from. It even makes sense it'd be from him.Cary Grant.
Deep Space Nine and Voyager. So if TOS is “Those Old Scientists” and TNG is “The New Guys”, what would DS9 and VOY be?

None of those are even close seconds.
Among other things, Auberjenois and Shimerman had a gift for comedy but the rest of the stiffs pulled the shows down.
In a sense, this episode is Trek's own Galaxy Quest.
We think, anyway. One might always headcanon that Boimler gets at that point that he’s telling her too much, and shuts up and leaves — thus not revealing that she eventually gets back together with Spock after Kirk’s apparent “death”, marries him and lives out the rest of her life with him. Or something. (Probably not the intent, but the wiggle room is there, should some future production decide to try to retcon it that way.)Bolimer accidently letting Chappell know she doesn't have a future with Spock
Take Me Out To The Holosuite. I agree.
These were also funny episodes
Trouble with Tribbles
Mudd's Women
The Magnificent Ferengi
Bada Bing Bada Bang
Those are just off the top of my head. All funny without the need of starfleet personnel acting like idiots.
I'm sorry. Wasn't the entire solution to defeating the robot overloads based on acting like idiots in Mudd's Women? Nevermind that was second Mudd episode, even so, come on man.
It was Una that noticed. Spock just agreed.Loved Spock noticing how specific their references are.
For all we know, she dies later on. She might not make it to the 24th century.Would have liked to see Mariner acknowledge Pelia because of course she is still alive in the 24th century and Mariner knows her.

It was good but it should have been TAS style animation. Would have fit with LD when they were looking at TAS pictures of Spock and Kirk. This was also just perfect
